Isabel Silva is an American-born Brazilian coloratura soprano based in New York City, where she has been actively expanding her experiences with a variety of notable debuts, such as Despina in Mozart's "Così fan tutte" in 2024 with Winter Harbor Music Festival, as Barbarina in "Le Nozze di Figaro" with Canto Vocal Programs, as Papagena in "Die Zauberflöte" with Trentino Music Festival, and as Zina in Nico Muhly's "Dark Sisters." Previously, she was cast as Clarice in Haydn's "Il Mondo della Luna" before the performances were canceled due to the pandemic. 

 

Ms. Silva won First Place in the Euterpe Awards, Second Place in the International Mozart Competition, and Third Place in the Music International Grand Prix Semifinals. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida, and earned a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Mannes School of Music in New York. 

 

Additionally, Isabel is an After Care Associate Teacher and Administrative Assistant of Extended Learning Programs at Avenues: The World School in New York. She is also a member of the Archdiocesan Cathedral Choir and a member of the HB Acting Studio.
